PIONEER VILLAGE TRADER INFO


The PIONEER VILLAGE is a busy place with many craftsmen demonstrating their 1800’s work. All Traders in this area MUST sell or demonstrate only 1800’s crafts and wear period clothing. If you are trading, exhibiting, or just joining us in the Pioneer Village for the weekend, your tent space is free for the 3-day event.
ONLY AUTHENTIC 1800's LODGES AND TEEPEES ARE ALLOWED IN THE VILLAGE! The Village will be set up separately, Rendezvous-style, with no modern vendors allowed in the area. Only Pioneer Village participants may stay in their lodges. Mountain men, women, and children are encouraged to come set up your lodge or teepee and enjoy a weekend away from the hubbub of modern day life.

Incredible and interesting craftsmanship and dress from the 1800's Mountain Man Rendezvous era can be found in the Pioneer Village during Mountain Days. Also in the Pioneer Village, the Morning Star Indian Dancers dance throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday plus during nightly Bonfire Dances on Friday and Saturday nights.

Come join in the festivities and the fun of going back in time to enjoy the camaraderie and crafts of the Mountain Men. You're invited to "dress the part" and to participate in the Bonfire Dances or just relax and shop!
