Alpine Mountain Days 2010 Schedule of Events

FRIDAY, JUNE 18

Noon —
Opening Ceremony by Info booth for event — Gazebo, Alpen Haus, Hwys 89 & 26
         — 2010 Grand Marshall Donn Wooden
Noon – 8 pm -
ARTS & CRAFTS, Pioneer Village,  Lawn Areas Commercial Booths & Food Concessions
         — Raffle/door prize tickets for sale & prizes available for viewing at Gazebo—watch for the Rodeo Royalty to buy your ticket!
1 - 2:30 pm — Horseshoe Pitching Tournament — sponsored by New Hope Assembly of God
1 - 5 pm — Big Dog Bounce in the
Children's Village — sponsored by Star Valley Apostolic Church — donations accepted
2 - 5 pm —
NAS Youth Archery Competitions & Instruction — Neal Kiehne, east end of grounds
3 - 5 pm — Children's Village - Face Painting by Tracey & friend
3 pm & 5 pm — Door prizes
3:30 - 4:30 pm — Movie "In the Valley of the Wolves" from the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival, showing at the Alpine Library
4:30 - 5:30 pm — Movie "Queen of Trees" from the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival, showing at the Alpine Library
Throughout day —
Buggy rides — Star Valley Buggy & Harness — visit info booth in Gazebo for directions

6 pm — Registration for Chili Cook-off ends (event takes place on Saturday) — Big White Tent
6 - 8 pm — Musical Entertainment Main Stage —
LINFORD BAND —  (in Big White Tent in case of inclement weather)
7 - 9 pm —
BINGO (sponsored by American Legion Post #46) — location: Alpine Civic Center (starts at 7:30 pm)
9 - 10 pm — Morning Star Indian Dancers & Bonfire, Pioneer Village at Fire pit (time depends on their arrival)

Saturday, June 19

7 am - 11 am — Animal Humane Association-Star Valley (AHA-SV)
breakfast & fundraiser at Alpine Civic Center
9 am - 8 pm —
ARTS & CRAFTS, Pioneer Village,  Lawn Areas Commercial Booths & Food Concessions
         — Raffle/door prize tickets for sale & prizes available for viewing at Gazebo — Door prizes throughout day beginning at noon
7 am - 2 pm — Alpine Fire Department's
CHILI COOK-OFF in BIG WHITE TENT — fundraiser for AVFD
         — POKER RUN in Big White Tent also—visit tent for details!
10 am - 3 pm — NAS Youth Archery Competitions & Instruction — Neal Kiehne, east end of grounds
10 am - 3 pm – Children's Village - Face Painting by Tracey
Morning Star Indian Dancers throughout the day — Pioneer Village, near Fire Pit — listen for the drums!!

Afternoon — Musical Entertainment Main Stage — TWO RIVERS Celtic Music — (info at Gazebo in case of inclement weather)
2 pm — Beard & Moustache Contest—Gazebo (Register all weekend)
3:30 pm — Raffle Drawing & Closing Ceremonies—Gazebo
4 pm —
Morning Star Indian Dancers—Gazebo Farewell Performance
