This will
be Alpine Wyoming’s Annual Mountain Days’ SECOND CHILI
COOK-OFF. Come join in the fun either as a participant
or to taste the goods and submit your vote for the best
chili. No categories this year—anything goes as long as
it tastes like CHILI.
1) Entrants will be required to register, as an individual or team of no more than 4. Late entries will be accepted until June 13. 2) Chili must be cooked on site from scratch. 3) No ingredients may be precooked before the competition begins. 4) Canned or bottled tomatoes, tomato sauce, peppers, pepper sauces, spices and broths are allowed. 5) Each contestant or team will be required to cook a minimum of 3 gallons of chili in as sanitary a manner as possible. 6) Cooking methods allowed are by portable propane stove (preferred), by charcoal fire, or by electric burner or crock pot. Electric hook-ups may be limited. Please make arrangements in advance—first come, first served. 7) Chili must be ready for judging by 3 p.m. The public will vote for the People’s Choice by buying “tasting spoons.” (This is why you need 3 gallons so you don't run out!) 8) Contestants must clean up their site at the end of the competition & leave it as found. > ENTRY FEES ARE DUE JUNE 9th.
